Sukiyaki (Ue O Muite Aruku) [feat. Eriko Tamura]

  • G.H. Hat is a marvel in that he transitions from classical to EDM, to pop music with seemingly no effort. He exploded onto Billboard’s Dance Club chart with his first and second pop/dance club/EDM songs and, from what I’m hearing, a third pop song is on the way. A dance club newcomer, he glided onto the dance club charts outperforming and charting higher than songs by such icons as Justin Bieber, Drake, David Guetta and Cardi B (Old Town Crier)
  • Recently released, monstrous, energetic, EDM sound, “I Got A Problem ( I Wonder…), by superstar mixer, remixer, composer, producer, G.H. Hat. ( The Indie Source)
  • Cultured and diverse, G.H. Hat is creating immersive experiences in the form of music that transport listeners into the newly unlocked dimension that G.H. Hat has discovered. Capturing the essence of Deep House, Trip-Hop and Trance while remaining grounded in his own style, “I Got A Problem (I Wonder…)” is an original and adventurous gateway into the empowered creative space that the man is currently within. ( Tatoo.com)
  • Adding intelligence, sterling production and sophisticated grooves, his brand of electronic dance music moves from just a standard dance track to a hypnotic groove. (The Itse Breezy)
  • Multi-genre producer, remixer, composer, and performer G. H. Hat… is on his way to becoming one of the most anticipatory acts in the EDM arena.” (The Celebrity Cafe)
  • G.H. Hat Gets Us Raging With “I Got a Problem” – It’s an EDM track that is ready for the masses, ready for the festival goers to jump, pump, and all-out rage to when the time hits. “I Got A Problem” has massive appeal with its sexy dance mix.” (We Sound Strange)
  • G.H. Hat Kills It With New Dance Track, “I Got A Problem” (Populove)
  • I Got a Problem (I Wonder…) ”is manic AF. We’re digging it hard.” (Idobi)

Sukiyaki

“G.H. Hat seems to be doing everything right as an artist…“Sukiyaki”, coming on the heels of “I Got a Problem (I Wonder…)”, solidifies that G.H. Hat is no “one-hit-wonder”.” (AKA News)

“This is a period during which G.H. Hat’s creative process has evolved into one of the most highly regarded sounds on the market, and with the release of his brand new 3-song EP, “Sukiyaki (feat. Alina Renae)”, it’s no exaggeration to suggest that this time in music seems to belong to him…”  (Review Indie)

All-in-all…this entire EP is a complete joy to listen to, flows perfectly, and over the course of the three versions… it might be the same song served up three ways, but you won’t feel yourself getting tired of this whatsoever…there’s no wear & tear on the EP and it’ll hold up over time, because each of the three cuts really do have their own personality, sound, style, and perspective on the original Sakamoto hit.  (Sleeping Bag Studios)

Overall, this is an excellent reinvention and reinterpreting of a lost classic from decades ago, with a distinctive vocal performance from Alina Renae. Hat’s production techniques are second to none and it balances a radio friendly sound with being perfect for the dancefloor. (The Faulkner Review)

“The production value of this song is truly spectacular.” (Associated News)

The Press is Rolling In…. “I Got a Problem (I Wonder…) [feat. Mickey Shiloh]

About Me

G.H Hat is a performer and producer and a relative new-comer to EDM. (He had released 290 Classical Tracks prior to starting his EDM career.) In 2016, G.H. Hat released his first two EDM/Triphop songs, and within weeks racked up Soundcloud Top 50 Charting, and continued the year with many placements on Official Spotify playlists.

By late 2017 G.H. entered what he calls his “Vocal” Stage and with his first such release, “I Got a Problem (I Wonder…) [feat. Mickey Shiloh],” G.H. Hat achieved National Billboard Success, charting for 10 weeks on DANCE CLUB SONGS (TOP 50) peaking at #16 and charting for 7 weeks on HOT SINGLES SALES peaking at #5.

2018 opened with G.H. Hat having placed 66 of his songs on 88 Official Spotify Playlists and over 7,200 Spotify user playlists (according to “Spotify for Artists” statistics).

On 5/12/18 G.H. Hat’s newest song “Sukiyaki (feat. Alina Renae)” debuted on Billboard’s DANCE CLUB SONGS (TOP 50).

It charted for 10 weeks DANCE CLUB SONGS (TOP 50) peaking at #19 followed up by Sukiyaki, “Ue o Muite Arukō” (feat. Eriko Tamura). Internationally, G.H. Hat’s EDM songs have been picked up and are playing on radio stations, instore radio, and cable and TV video channels in 145 countries.

2019 saw G.H. Hat in the studio working on a new album to be released in 2020. But as we all know 2020 turned into a pandemic and a disaster for the entertainment industry. 2021 began with 77 of G.H. Hat’s songs on 116 official Spotify playlists and over 11,700 user playlists. 2021 also began with G.H. Hat focusing on his Piano Jams – with two new releases – Piano Jam 3 (Ode to Kygo),  and Piano Jam 4 (Ode to Kygo) .
